Year 3 and Year 4 form the Saplings Class during the morning session, when they study reading, writing and mathematics.  They are taught by Mrs. Brash most mornings.  During the afternoon sessions, the Saplings study science, computing and PSHE separately from the Oaks but the classes often combine for wider curriculum lessons such as music, R.E. and history, where topics are covered on a two or four-year rolling programme.
