Welcome to Osmotherley Primary School
Children come first at Osmotherley Primary School and we endeavour to encourage independent learning through a varied and vast creative curriculum, valuing the child, their interests and achievements, which we believe in turn produces a confident, well rounded individual.
Osmotherley Primary School is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive community where every child is valued. We are a small school but a big family, working together to ensure that we know each child exceptionally well.
We strive to ensure that all our children are safe and happy, with a strong sense of belonging and pride: pride in themselves, pride in our school, and pride in the beautiful area we live in. We support every child to thrive and achieve their best, guided by our school values of Respect, Resilience, Empathy and Reflection.
Our dedicated staff are passionate about learning and deeply committed to meeting the needs of every pupil. Located on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, we make the most of our natural surroundings through Forest School sessions and outdoor learning opportunities that enrich the curriculum, inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning.
Our school is at the heart of the local community, and we are fortunate to be supported by our families, village residents, and the wider surrounding area.
It is a privilege to serve as Head of School at Osmotherley Primary School. Our team is immensely proud of all that we offer, and of the wonderful children who make our school such a special place.
I hope our website provides the information you need. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Prospective parents and carers are warmly invited to visit. Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment, and we will be delighted to welcome you.
