If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you will need to apply for a Reception class place for September 2027. The deadline for applications is 15 January 2027.

The admissions process for all schools in North Yorkshire is managed by North Yorkshire Council. This includes admissions for children staring school in September and for those who have moved into the area during the academic year.

· In September for children who reach their fifth birthday between 1st September and 31st August

The number of places available at the school is published annually and the school cannot exceed that number, which is allocated with regards to available accommodation in the school. There are 10 main school places in each year group. North Yorkshire Council has an admission appeal procedure – you can read about the appeals procedure here.
