Our School Day
A member of staff will greet children at the main door at 8.45am. The main door is closed at 8.55am. Our school day ends at 3.15pm for the infants (EYFS&KS1) and 3.30pm for the juniors (KS2). We have regular collective worship, as well as ‘awards’ and community and world news assemblies.

Morning playtimes
We have a morning break for all children from 10.30am to 10.50am.
Lunch
Our lunchtime starts at 12pm and ends at 1pm. School staff serve the dinners to the children.
Afternoon playtimes
Children have an afternoon playtime most afternoons unless they have already completed active sessions such as PE.
Drop off and collection
At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are welcome to come to chat to a member of staff or make an appointment for a confidential conversation. This helps us to establish a close relationship between home and school – our aim is to promote good links with all parents. If usual arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you will be late or another person will be collecting your child) please let us know in advance as this avoids confusion or upset.
Getting to school
Children are encouraged to walk, cycle or scoot to school. Parents bringing their children to school by car are asked to park on School Lane rather than dropping their children off at the school gates. There is an unwritten rule that School Lane operates as a one-way system during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times and we kindly ask parents to respect this.
